1. What challenged you this week? What did you do to overcome that challenge? (show pictures or videos of it)
Well, I have a really hard time with this "repeated addition" thingy that I wasted 20 minutes of Math starring at my notebook for not understanding anything. But then, at the teacher group, I found that not only me is having trouble with this!! Ms. Hannah tried her best to help us understand more about repeated addition and how it is related to multiplying! Believe it or not, in the end, I was the first person to be able to understand this!! I really figured this problem out and actually made a video of this!!
To be honest, I doesn't really struggle with anything else besides the repeated addition but one thing that I' not sure if it counts but I'm learning a new method of solving the Fraction problems by numberless and our group just get started with this method so I'm not that sure about that. number lines are pretty much annoying to me because it really took me a long time of drawing numbers, and splitting the number line perfectly. Whatsoever, repeated addition really took a long time drawing squares, boxes or whatever you call them, too! Both ways are hard to use in test but it's definitely correct. I mean 100%! Here's a picture demonstrating of what I'm trying to say!
3. What did you discover this week in Math? (show pictures or videos of it)
From what I've been learning this week for Math, I've discovered that fractions can be solve in different ways, too! The Repeated addition and the Number Line technique all works but one problem, took us a long time to figure this out during a test. We don't have time to draw boxes or number lines!! I'm betting that there's a new technique coming up for fraction next week!! Although, if multiplying, and fractions can be solve in different ways, then there's a high chance that we can solve division in different ways as well don't you think? Man, I'm so curious to find out!
The best thing in Math so far is my teammates to should I say Math group. They have helped me with number lines and repeated addition and is always be there to help me whenever I'm confused! Man, what such friends that I have! But that's not the only thing that's interesting, it's about fraction solving!! I so pumped up to see what technique will Ms. Hannah, our homeroom teacher will teach us next!! So curious!!
I was going to say the teammates thingy but guess I spoiled it!! Anyway, I really feel like I'm no longer confused and having a difficulty with Math! With the help of my teacher, my friends I'm sure I'll conquer any math problems Ms. Hannah give me through out the year!! And I'll keep this spirit up until then!!! Never Give Up, Melanie!!
